- Announcing general availability (GA) of
Softek TDMF for z/OS Version 5 Release 1.0
Highlights include:
- Support for z/OS V1.10 Operating System
- Extended Address Volumes (EAV)
- Increased Number of Systems
- Allows support for up to sixty-four systems, one Master system and up to sixty-three additional agent systems to be defined in a single TDMF session
- Improvements in ICKDSF innovation
- Dynamically detects the level of ICKDSF and its ability to perform its associated VTOC functions
- Improved GDPS/PPRC & Hyperswap support
- Interacts with GDPS/PPRC HyperSwap environments to minimize the amount of time that HyperSwap is not functional. HYPERSW OFF and HYPERSW ON commands are now automatically issued
- Source Disk overwrite, TDMFSECURE
- Provide a compliant source disk destruct feature that complies with the federal (or other) standards and requirements for overwriting
