The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-directed, highly motivated and demonstrate exceptional business judgment and acumen. He/She will have a strong sense of urgency and a bias for action while making sound business decisions based on a combination of analyses, experience, judgment and maturity. This executive will demonstrate the ability to operate efficiently as a strategic and tactical executive working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. This position reports to the Vice President North America Sales.

Responsibilities
- Generates revenue and profit margin for Softek in their assigned accounts and territories.
- Works closely with a network of channel partners to ensure the successful marketing of Softek solutions.
- Prospecting & Planning: Identifies high potential sales opportunities (with customer and Regional VP/Dir) and prioritizes them. Builds rapport and educates customer with the use of internal and external resources.
- Qualifying & Analysis: Leads and develops account strategy using customer's storage growth plans, budget, and project timelines.
- Proposing & Closing: Submits and presents the customer with a finalized collaborative proposal with solutions, justifications, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin.
- Validating Value: Engages sales management to validate the business impact with the CXO level.
- Building a Business Case: Articulates Softek’s value and provides prospects with an overview of Softek products and services.
- Implementing: Oversees the implementation of the proposed solution by the sales team.
- Insures high post sales satisfaction that nurtures repeat business with customers.
Experience and Education
Candidates must have:
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hands-on, and flexible organization
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 5 years in senior level sales selling IT solutions, preferably hardware, software, and professional services to corporate clients
- Significant existing relationships for this senior position
- Solid understanding of technology products and/or services and familiarity with leading edge storage technologies
- Experience developing accounts, writing technical quotes and proposals, and giving presentations to all levels of management
- Personable, confident team player with significant personal presence and credibility
- Enthusiasm, passionate and hard working
- Enjoys finding the right answer in a collaborative process, no matter who comes up with it; open to debate, comfortable in active discussion
- Thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- A demonstrated track record of strong performance in a sales leadership role
- A history of building successful relationships based on superior customer service
- Experience in an environment that requires strong customer orientation/relationships, however, maintains ability to make strong business decisions to benefit of the company
- Experience in working with both short and extended sales cycles
